When I rebuilt my engine, I put the oil pan on with the engine on a stand, so I've never gone at it from the bottom. Apparently I did a poor job sealing it, because it seems that is where my leak is. I got my car back from my tuner (RalliTek) a few days ago, and they said it was 2 bolts to get to the pan. After undoing the motor mounts, you have to lift the engine about 2 inches with an engine hoist to gain clearance.
